Introduction

I am starving for information! I excel best from hands-on training. I am an accomplished automotive parts specialist with ten years of experience in customer service, problem solving as well as automotive knowledge. I also have a background of manual labor which instilled a good work ethic in me. Playing sports has helped me realize that being a team player is crucial to success. My hobby of building PC’s has turned into a love for I.T.; I’m now studying for multiple certifications including Comptia A+, Network +, Security + and the CCNA.

*Built and sold multiple gaming PC’s. Maintained customer relationships after the sale. Gained troubleshooting skills, along with hardware knowledge.

*Upgrading customer HDD to SSD’s. Included using software to clone customers Operating system and files to new storage device and installing in Laptop or Desktop. Worked with all operating systems; Windows, MacOS, and Linux.

*Created a home lab with virtualbox using PfSense and Ubuntu. I was able to create a Virtual network inside my network in order to gain knowledge to implement the PfSense OS as my main home networking solution.

*I have since installed PfSense as my home network router and firewall! I used a mini pc to install the operating system on. I have a smart switch and access point. So I was able to create multiple VLAN’s for my network. All my cameras, IOT devices and phones are all on separate networks.

*I’m currently doing labs with Cisco packet tracer in order to be able to program cisco routers and switches. As well as gain valuable information about how networking works on a Enterprise level as well as home. I’m utilizing multiple resources for my networking study’s; my favorite being Network Chuck.

*Replaced iPhone screens and batteries, of course using my iFixit tool kit!

Responsibilities: Problem solver. Look up and provide parts to technicians. Sell parts to wholesale and retail customers. Have a working knowledge of the parts catalog and the dealerships inventory. Use CDK for all billing and inventory purposes. Maintain customer relationships. Multi-tasking is a huge part of this job with phone calls, techs and wholesale customers all needing speedy accurate service.

Harrisburg Heat

Ever since I was a child, I wanted to become a professional soccer player. I went to a try-out and they asked me to continue playing with the team. I decided to leave my job that I had been at for over 5 years to pursue this dream, as I was driving an hour and a half each way, every day to Harrisburg, PA to be part of the team. I continued with the team as a reserve player for the entirety of the season. I grew so much as a player and a person from this experience; I do not have any regrets.

*Five years of experience in roofing, service and metal work. (Reliable roofing, Rosedale Roofing, Cole Roofing)

  • Service – I was responsible for visiting customers, finding and repairing leaks. Installing curbs and making sure they were water tight for AC units. Maintaining customer relationships.
  • Metal Work – I was responsible for fabricating the metal that went out to different job sites. Was proficient in using a hydraulic ten foot break along with other tools to fabricate the metal. I was also able to gain many hours operating a fork lift to transport the 4ft x 10ft sheets of metal as well.

*Spent two summers doing lawn care and landscaping

  • I was the lawncare foreman. I was responsible for 2 to 4 people at times and maintaining customer relationships. Was given personal use of the work truck. I also became very adapt to driving a truck with a 16ft trailer. I had to memorize each days routes to make the best of my time.
